Another Partial Seam Herringbone

I finished this recently, made with a Tula Pink jelly roll and some scraps. I also made a matching pillow. I probably had enough strips left over for another row, to make it wider, but decided against it after much huffing and puffing. It's a weird size but it actually works well as a TV quilt- just the right side for draping over a lap to watch TV or read on the sofa.

My cats looooove it.

I like it okay. My husband has claimed it for himself. That's fine. It's pretty but I am deeply unsatisfied with the size and wish I had bothered to make it bigger. Problem was that I had the perfect size batting scrap and backing scrap for it so that definitely had an impact on my decision making.

The backing is Tula Pink and I quilted it with 60wt King Tut white cotton thread and Quilter's Dream Green batting, my favorite.

I do love me a herringbone though!
