About Me

I'm a quilter, reader and cat lady living in the NYC area. I've been quilting since 2002 and am active in the NYC quilting community.

I love sewing quilts, purses, dolls and trying new things. I'm inclined towards precuts. I consider myself a traditional-to-modern quilter. Foundation paper piecing is my favorite specialty technique. I quilt by hand and machine and sometimes send a quilt out for longarming.  I enjoy traveling and visiting quilt shops all over the country.

I'm also an avid reader and you can read my book blog at www.bostonbibliophile.com. You can follow me on Insta @sewverywrongmarie or @bostonbibliophile2 (for books) and Twitter @BibliophlMarie.

I sew on Janome machines and my Etsy shop is closed at the moment.
